Wynyard Minor Hockey Days a HUGE success again this year!

Wynyard Minor Hockey played host to it's annual Minor Hockey Day(s) celebration on December 11th and 12th, 2015.  Over the past number of years, WMH has made this event one to be proud of, and one that has become the envy of the area and the province.  The weekend was highlighed by some excellent games and fantastic prizes.  Major prize winners were:

Before the Bantam game on Saturday night, WMH President, Tod Bolt, was recognized by the Prairie Central District for Sport, Culture, and Recreation with their Volunteer Recognition Award.  Tod targeted the $1000 award to offset the cost of running of the fall conditioning camp.  Cogratulations, Tod, and thank you for your service to WMH.

Many thanks to our fans, coaches, and especially players for a great couple of days at Wynyard Memorial Arena!

Finally, thank you so much to our MHD committee, Chair - Jenn Maksymovitch, Treasurer - Patricia Hrushka, and their committee Tara Lindal, Dana Stefanson, Thora Joynt, and Alana Melsted.  Also thank you to the many volunteers, including team coordinators, and all of our parent volunteers who helped out in so many ways throughout the weekend.  It is the efforts of all of you that made the weekend so successful.  THANK YOU all!
